Date Of Birth: 16.04.2021 Jed is a strong dog, looking very much like his sire Flint . Having a very willing attitude and a lovely nature, again like his sire, he is a very promising dog. In his first year in novice field trials (2022/2023) season, he attained awards and won out of novice at Leicestershire Gundog Society's field trial on 10th January 2023. JED relishes all forms of training and I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing his development into a good Open field trial competitor in the 2023/2024 season. JED enjoyed his first outing to a busy working test hosted by G.R.C.N. at Butterknowle Fell and came 2nd in the Open April 2023, followed in May with a 1st Place in the Open at Northumberland & Durham's working tests at Allensford. He then followed this with a very good 2nd place Open test win at N. & D. LRC's Centenary tests at Ford Estate. JED opened his OPEN FIELD TRIAL account with a very good C.O.M. at Tyne Tees and Tweed 24 dog 2 day trial in September 2023. He made it down to the last two dogs and did exceptionally well for such a young dog. I was very proud of him. At the end of September JED ran a brilliant trial for the N.G.O. Scotland. Despite only being awarded a COM I was thrilled with his performance. Shortly afterwards, Jed put in an excellent run at Midland Counties Field Trial Society 24 dog Open Trial on the 26th September and was awarded a worthy 2nd place - giving him a B qualification to the 2023 IGL. Jed started October with a great run in Carmarthenshire Gundog Society's 24 dog Open Trial, gaining another 2nd place - giving him his second B qualification towards the IGL 2023. 6th and 7th November 2023, Jed ran an exceptional 24 dog two day trial hosted by North West Labs. Against a very strong field he excelled on both days and finished a very worthy FIRST PLACE. This qualifies Jed for the 2023 IGL when I hope his proven consistency will continue, as he thoroughly enjoys competing at this level. He is only 2 and a half years old and I am very proud of him. |
