Selection day took place in Cheshire April 2019, where challenging tests were set.
There was a very good attendance of top quality competitors and dogs which made
for an impressive day.
I am proud that Flint (FTCH Troddenmills Beck and Call of Leacaz) was chosen to represent England in the prestigious Skinner's World Cup and also the C.L.A. Game Fair along with other excellent handlers and dogs.
I was also very pleased with our young OFTAW Todd, who gave a very good account of himself.
I am honoured to have been selected for the English Retriever Team over many years with three excellent Leacaz dogs.
There was a very good attendance of top quality competitors and dogs which made

some challenging tests.

England were 2nd overall (only 5 points - out of 800) behind the winners Scotland.
A very good event and Flint put in a confident and very polished performance.

I am very proud that Flint has been chosen as a member of the England Retriever Team for the Skinner's World Cup and also the C.L.A. Gamefair in 2018

Not only the Retriever Team but also the Spaniel Team too; meaning England were overall winners
by a clear margin.
Flint was top scoring dog after his runs on the first day showing his strength and consistent reliability.
I am very proud of Flint and also of all my team mates in the England Internationals this year;
whose performances were absolutely outstanding during this event.

Flint performed well at the event; and after an exceptional 2nd day performance which saw us drop only 2 points from 100, he finished Top England Retriever of the event.
The tests were very challenging and the setting of Cawdor was spectacular.

The England Retriever and Spaniel Teams performed exceptionally well.
I was very proud that Flint was top England Retriever (only one point off top scoring dog of the competition).
I was very pleased with his performance.
The Retriever team was one point behind the winners Ireland but with the England Spaniel team taking first place
England won overall.

I was exceptionally proud of Flint (FTW Troddenmills Beck And Call of Leacaz) as we were asked to attend the selection event for the The England Gundog Retriever Team on the 10th April at Drakeshead in Lancashire by kind permission of John and Sandra Halstead. CLA GAME FAIR JULY 2016 - HOME INTERNATIONAL
I was very proud that Flint (FTW Troddenmills Beck and Call Of Leacaz) put in a great effort helping England retain the Winners title at the CLA Home International in July 2016.
Flint was top scoring English Retriever and I was exceptionally pleased with his performance.

ENGLAND RETRIEVER TEAM SELECTION EVENT APRIL 2015
The 2015 England Retriever Team Selection at Aske Hall, Richmond, Yorkshire 11th April 2015 took place in very challenging conditions. Both FTCh Lowforge Aragon Of Leacaz (Bob) and FTW Lowforge Glenaveigh of Leacaz (Glen) were invited to take part by new England Captain, David Latham.
Both dogs ran exceptionally well; resulting in Glen being offered a team place for both prestigious events at the C.L.A. and also Highclere. Unfortunately this year Bob narrowly missed out but I was very pleased with both dogs performances.

FTW Lowforge Glenaveigh Of Leacaz was part of the England winning team during a very challenging two day event at Englefield Estate, Berkshire. The event hosted 13 very talented teams but England were victorious under new Team Captain Dave Latham. The team look forward to the CLA Game Fair when we hope to do it all again!

ENGLAND WIN THE HOME INTERNATIONAL AT THE CLA GAME FAIR 2015
FTW Lowforge Glenaveigh Of Leacaz ran exceptionally well as part of the England winning team during the two day event at the CLA Game Fair, Harewood House in August 2015. The event saw England Retrievers win by 38 points which helped secure a home victory for the joint Retriever and Spaniel Teams! It was an honour to yet again represent my country.
