REST IN PEACE MY LOYAL BEST FRIEND 1.7.07 - 4.6.20
(BOB)
England Gundog Team Member 2011. 2012 and 2014 and three times IGL Qualifier
Following a brilliant career and still a very active leader of the Leacaz Team; Bob was retired from stud and major competition in 2016; but has left a legacy of many Award Winning Offspring to carry on his successful line.
He still enjoyed training and was fully active during his retirement living with me until his passing on the 4th June 2020. He will always be my very special dog.

As a multi Field Trial award winner, Bob won numerous accolades in working tests and field trials.
Some are shown on the next page including highlights such as him winning the two day open qualifier for the East Midlands Gundog Club, gaining his first entry into the 2010 IGL Retriever Championships at Sandringham. In 2011 Bob was selected to represent the winning England Team at Highclere in May; and was part of the England winning team at the CLA Game Fair in July; finishing 2nd top dog of the competition. He again qualified for the IGL Retriever Championship after winning the Three Ridings LRC Two Day Open at Wykeham in October. This resulted in him becoming a FIELD TRIAL CHAMPION. 2012 saw Bob selected to represent England; the winning team at the CLA Game Fair and then representing Great Britain at Chatsworth where he was overall top dog in an exceptional field of dogs from Europe. In 2013 he continued his winning ways gaining qualification for the 2013 IGL Retriever Championship at Lauder. 2014 saw Bob again selected for both the winning England Teams at the CLA Game Fair and Skinners World Cup where he was 3rd Top Dog of the competition. 2015 Bob narrowly missed out on selection for the England Gundog Team but competed well in working tests all season. Aged 10, when taken from retirement for one Open test in 2017 - for a 'run-out', HE WON - A truly Amazing Dog! Bob still enjoyed training and the occasional day out picking up with me, until his passing in June 2020. |
